Students use Azden AZ500XT, 51XT, and 100LT Wireless Microphone Systems, Azden SGM-2X Shotgun Mics, Shure SM58 hand held Microphones, and Sony ECM 44B lapel mics to record audio as well as Tascam BB-8oo Portable Digital Audio Recorders.  They also use Rycote Softie windscreens and K-Tek boom poles to ensure high quality sound for their production.  For field mixing, students use a Mackie 1202-VLZ Pro 12 channel mixer.
