Students produce the Valley News and learn what it takes to create a weekly news magazine program. In the control room students get hands-on experience with our Panasonic MX70 digital video switcher, Mackie 1402 VLZ Pro 16 channel audio mixer, Compix Media LCG 3000D Character Generator, Edirol PR-50 realtime video presenter and more. Using Panasonic DVX100A digital video cameras, Bogen tripods and dollies, Prompter People Broadcast 17 teleprompter system, Camplex Pro X1 multiplexing system, Desisti and Lowel studio lights and a Formatech custom made studio backdrop, students find out what its like to produce and work on a TV show.  We also have two chromakey (green and bluescreen) back drops for shooting footage for compositing.
