    To All CVCC Faculty,
I am Marty Kane’s (very proud) father. Some of you may know of or taught Marty Kane when he was a student at CVCC. Marty was a bit lost during his early High School years. He struggled in many of the standard academic subjects and became frustrated and disinterested in school. One thing he really enjoyed and knew he had some skills in was media technology, but his high school offered no courses in such a thing. One day during his freshmen year he came home very excited about a place called CVCC that offered just what he was looking for. We signed him up and after his first few weeks of CVCC classes Marty started to change. He was happier, gaining confidence, and even doing better in his classes back at the high school. CVCC changed Marty’s life. Look at him now! I hope you all realize what you do for the kids you teach, you open up doors that regular high schools can’t even come close to opening. You should all be very proud. Heartfelt “thank you” and God Bless. Sincerely, Jamie and Kelly Kane, Proud Parents of Marty Kane

  2. Mrs. Taylor-- THS

Although I don’t know Marty, I heard about this wonderful accomplishment during a sophomore presentation done by CVCC’s Mr. Taylor (no relation) at Twinsburg High School. Congratulations to Marty, his parents, and his teachers. I enjoyed watching the video, and we wish Marty the best of luck. You rock!
